Empowering people to make a difference
This Movement empowers persons of faith to be Marriage Equality advocates, particularly for action relative to pending or approved Marriage Equality Laws that are under attack. Transparent support of Marriage Equality by people of faith will counterbalance faith-based efforts to overthrow it.

The movement starts with committed persons who choose to be visibly active in support of Marriage Equality. They know what they can do, and they are prepared to speak out in support. Many encourage their friends and colleagues to support marriage equality. They may do so by gathering small groups of individuals for coffee/tea and conversation about what individuals can do to actively support marriage equality. Specific activities for supporting marriage equality present participants with options from which each person can decide what they will put into practice.
The website also provides “Case Statements” and other resources to help participants better understand the issues. A Case Statement is a written rationale that addresses claims made by opponents of marriage equality.
Among the activities Marriage Equality advocates can promote are:

This logo evokes many impressions. It could be four individuals commited to advocacy and linked by upraised hands. The blue pair or the gold pair may suggest gay or lesbian couples. The blue and gold pairs may suggest straight couples. The upswept arms suggest the worshipful posture of persons of faith and the sweeping lines of the circle suggest the movement of groups acting together for Marriage Equality.
